Mini Haul, 9/17/11

Hey everyone,
This is going to be my little blog entry to match with my video I posted on youtube. So today I went shopping. When I went to the mall, my main goal was to find jeans. I decided it wasn't the right time to buy them, and the price for these jeans were going through the roof. I honestly haven't been to the mall for jeans in so long that the price went up 10 dollars. I told myself i'd come back for pants, maybe later on in the winter time when they have some really good deals on pants. Other than my jeans I wanted to get a perfume that I saw at sephora, which was the Harajuku Lovers Fragrance. I tested out some of the samples in the store and noticed that I really liked the way G smelt. I ended up getting the limited summer edition "G of the sea" fragrance. This is what it looks like:

Its this cute little mermaid on top of the actual perfume, as a cap. When you uncap it, theres the little perfume. To me this perfume smells similar to MAC's perfume line. It is the blue capped perfume, in the hue: Truquatic.

The next thing I got from sephora was a nail-polish. It is OPI's three in one nail polish, it serves as a base, top coat and nail strengthener. I wanted this product for a while, ever since I first tried it about two months ago. I truly think it does work, so I ended up getting it along with my perfume. This is what it looks like :

Along with all my purchases that I got at sephora I also got a free gift with my points I has saved up on my card. I got to choose between three different items. I decided that I want to get a face primer, because i've never had one or bought one before. I was happy to get a little test sample to see what it would be like. Alone with my little test sample I also got a free test sample for dry skin by bare minerals. It was a moisturizing cream. These are what the free samples looked like:

The next place I went to was the body shop. I swear every time I go to the mall I always go to the body shop. The night before I saw on their facebook page that they were having a little sale going on for the love your body card members. Instead of getting your traditional 10% off on your purchases you got to get 20% over the weekend. That was one opportunity I didn't want to pass up, due to the fact that the body shop products aren't all that cheap. I ended up going in for basic body scrubbers. I have one body brush I use for my daily brushing ( using the brush, to brush off dead skins cells BEFORE I shower.) I wanted a brush I could use in the shower, and one with a long enough handle that I could reach my whole back. I found one, along with a face brush, and a foot brush. These are what the products look like:

The next thing I got was the 3 for 30 combo, which is when you buy a shower gel, a body scrub and a body butter for only 30 dollars. Its a good deal because you save about 16 dollars putting all three together. You are allowed to mix and match the products in the three for thirty line, but I really do like the grapefruit line, therefore I only stuck to just one line. These are what the products look like:

So after getting my whole purchase and getting my 20% off, I ended up getting a free little gift which consisted of five little test samples of their products. I only had four that I shared in my video, due to the fact that one of the samples was for men. I ended up giving that sample to my boyfriend. The other samples were: A body butter, black head exfoliator, moisturizing cream, and a little fragrance sample.
Here is a picture:

That was my entire shopping haul. Thank you guys so much for watching my videos and reading my hauls. :) Hope you all had a wonderful weekend !

Body Shop eyeshadows,

So I have tried practically all my eyeshadows i've ever bought from the body shop, and I will admit I do like them. There are the pros and cons to their makeup. First off, I like the different colors I have. Prior to my video that I made I actually bought 2 other eyeshadows. The two that appear on my video are the Number 37, pink champagne and Number 40, Baby pink. These are what they look like swatched:

To me I actually really like the baby pink color. When I swatched it in the store I actually thought it was a big too light, but when I put it on my eyelids to me it was the right consistency. The color wasn't too overbearing on my eyelids nor was it too light to the point where you couldn't tell what color I had on. I originally but on the pink champagne color because I thought it was very nice. I do like both of the colors, they fit very well with some of the outfits I have.

Basically the pros to their eyeshadows is they have great pigmentation in there colors, its not too much nor too little. To me its just right, which is really good and hard to find in some eyeshadows. The other thing I like is when removing makeup it comes over smoothly, without having to work on it for a while,  like some of my other eyeshadows i've had.

The cons to the product are basically the fact that many of the body shops eyeshadows or just eye makeup in general has this shimmer tone to it that I don't really find appealing. I tend to like mat colors more, I don't end up getting glitter stuck on my face. Another thing I don't like is how soft the eyeshadows are, which means that if you accidentally drop it, it will crack.

Other than that, I really do like these eye shadows. Hopefully I'll look into more on the other colors available at the body shop, though for now I am content with the shades I have !

Body Shop Haul,

Over the summer, on the 17th of August I believe I went to the body shop. I was waiting for a gift to arrive in the mail, which had my boyfriends anniversary gift in it. His gift was a gray plaid like jacket, since thats what he likes to wear. But in order to get the free shipping I needed to get 50 dollars worth of products, and his jacket didn't cut it. I ended up getting black platform heals for myself, and I must say I love them ! It's the first pair of actual "pumps" I got for myself. I believe its about 3 to 4 inches high and is really gorgeous ! I can't wait to wear them out. This is what they look like:

We went to this cute little tea shop and drank tea, I loved mines which smelt like raspberries. My boyfriend got a peppermint type of tea. We at little finger sandwiches and I ate salad, while he had soup. We had scones and fruits as well as little brownies ! It was by far the best experience, for going to my first little tea shop ! I can't wait to go back during the christmas season ! The decorations during that time are beyond beautiful !

Once we were done we went to the mall, and the night before I went on te body shop's website and noticed they had a sale going on. You would have to buy a little bag for 5 dollars, and once you did so anything you could fit into that bag ( that were makeup products) you would get 50% off. I didn't want to miss this opportunity, because the body shop's makeup is very expensive. Their makeup ranges from around 8 dollars to 20+. I liked this sale because not only could you put makeup into the bag and get it for half the price but you could also get the brushes for half their price as well.

In the end, I ended up getting 2 eyeshadows. Both of the eyeshadows are some sort of pink color. One has more of a dark tone pinkish purple type color. Which I use a lot, the next one was a lighter more shimmery pink. Sadly, when I first bought the product it was fine, but when I came home the product was cracked. I wasn't so happy about that. Swatches of the colors as shown here :

As well as images of the brushes I got:

Looking at the picture the product on the far left hand side is number 37, and the right hand side is product number 40 !

TonyMoly Products!

Hey everyone,

This is just part of my blog explaining all the TONYMOLY products I got from the website pretty and cute. As of this year i've actually been shopping for all my facial products online at this store, and I honestly love it. Pretty and Cute is by far my life saving store. I always have to get something every time I go on the site, its so addicting ! @_@

Anyways, explaining more about the products I bought, as you can see in the video majority of the products that I actually bought were Tonymoly products. I bought 3 different types of tonymoly products because I wanted to try them out. The one thing I honestly love about tonymoly is how cute the packaging the product is kept in, looks like. I already had one product , which came in a egg. The next three products I bought were; another egg(bronzed golden brown), an ice cream looking snow cone, and a coffee cup. As shown here:

First product up to bat is the golden brown egg, that came in my "egg pore pack" pretty and cute has been releasing the eggs very slowly in this egg pore pack. For those of you that don't know about it, Tonymoly has three eggs in this little pore pack. One for blackheads, one to tightening your pores, and the last one is a silky smooth balm. This is the middle product helping to tighten those pesky pore on your face. It is a really cute package, in the shape of an egg. All tony moly egg packages can be used into a planting pot after you're done using the product by simply whacking the part of the egg that has a little "cracked" portion to it. The different colored part of the egg with then be removed and you can then grow your pant in the little base.
The inside of the product almost looks like a darker colored mustard and basically how the product works is you put it on like you would a face mask. You leave it on for about 10 to 15 minutes then you wash it off in lukewarm water. The inside of the product looks like so;

I haven't had time to try the product, but when I do, i'll be sure to add on more to this part of my blog about the product. I do like the smell however, it smells just like the blackhead gel. Which to me smells like key lime pie, the only difference is this one had a little bit more of a potent smell to it. None the less this product still smells nice, and I can't wait to try it !

The next product will be the Ice Queen product, which is basically like a sunburn cooler. Its supposed to help cool down your skin after being in the sun. The product looks like a greenish jelly. I have tried it, and the product does smell amazing, but the gel is a little annoying to deal with. The way this product works is after you're done cleaning off your skin, with your cleanser, toner, things like that you put this product on your skin and let it sit for about 10 minutes and after that you wash it off with luke warm water. This is what the product looks like on the outside as well as the inside:

The last TonyMoly product that I bought was the Latte Art Milk Tea, Morning pack. It this cute looking product in a little coffee cup with a little "spoon like" effect with a silver stick to stir the product with. It also comes with a little cream pack, you know for your morning cup of coffee ! :) What the product does is it helps boost your skin for a very nice fresh clean look. It is a anti-wrinkle and whitening functional product. Also helps your skin with makeup, making any "rough" surfaces on your face smooth for the beautiful touch of makeup ! How you use this product is you put the amount of the product needed on your face for about 20 seconds and you pat down on your face to penetrate the product and make it start working. When you first get the product be sure to add your "cream" to your morning cup of coffee to make your product work even more. This is the product both inside and out:

Along with this purchase, I also bought another bow shaped fringe, in a light baby blue color. It works just like the one I described in my other posting, this is what it looks like :
Along with my whole order the little complimentary gifts that are out for this month is bow shaped fringes, I got another one for free. It is red with little white hearts on it ^_^ I'm so happy I got one for free ! Add's up to my collection quiet well :)

Summer Haul,

Hey everyone,
This is my blogging version of my massive summer haul. This haul consists of all the things I've basically bought over the summer, both online, and me actually walking around into stores to go buy. From the online store pretty and cute, I bought 3 different products from their Acne Control line, which consisted of a cleanser, a toner, and a lotion. Also other products that I got were the TonyMoly Blackhead gel, a 9 piece brush set, Shampoo, Bow fringe, Body scrub, eye lash curler, hair cologne, 2 nail polishes (One from OPI and one from China Glaze), and lastly a necklace.

The products I bought in stores were; clothing material from Victoria's Secret(Bras & Underwear) 2 tank top type shirts from forever 21, a candle and a body scrubber from Bath and body, a bathbomb from LUSH and lastly went to the apple store.

You can read up on my first post I made about the Lioele products that I bought from Pretty and Cute. The things that I didn't buy from that last post that I have in my possession now, are the 9 Piece brush set, shampoo, body scrub, eye lash curler, hair cologne and the 2 nail polishes.

To get started, i'll start off with the body scrub I got. I do like the way it smells, and it did make my skin feel softer. The only thing I didn't like about it was how oily it felt when I used it on my whole body, and it didn't help at the fact it made my scrubber oily as well. So much to the point that I couldn't even keep soap on it. A picture of the product :

The next thing is the shampoo that I bought. It was the Kao Essential shampoo. I really did like this product for picking it out for the very first time. It made my hair feel very soft and clean, it smelt nice too. The only thing I didn't like was basically how small the bottle was, but I will justify my actions for this shampoo being a "tester" for me. I wouldn't definitely buy it again. It lathers very well, and it did wonders to my hair. Considering how oily its been getting ever since summer started. I would highly recommend this product to anyone, it works pretty well for all hair types!

The hair cologne is another test product I bought, and to be honest with you I wasn't too pleased with this product. The smell wasn't all that great and based on the reviews it was supposed stay in your hair all day. I sprayed my hair about twice and the smell would vanish in about 5 minutes. The way the product smelt was kind of like the perfume a really old lady would wear? I know it sounds offensive, but thats the only way I can describe it. I didn't get the "nice fruity" smell everyone was talking about. I wouldn't buy this product again, if I had the opportunity. This is a picture of both hair products I bought from pretty and cute :

The bow shaped fringe I got was wonderful, the first time I ever saw this product I thought it was really stupid. After my difficulty with my hair ( mainly my bangs going all over the place) I decided to get one. The only color I could get at the time was pink, due to the fact all the other colors were sold out. When I got my package in the mail, I was shocked that it came with two in a pack. I tried out the product and I loved it. I ended up buying one more, in baby blue and got a red one as a complimentary gift for buying over 20 dollars worth of products. I am happy with the product, as well as the price. These fringes are by far one of the best products i've bought from pretty and cute. It works great for when I go to wash my face before I go to bed or wake up in the morning. You should definitely buy one ! This is what it looks like :

The next thing is the nine piece brush set, I thought I ordered the high quality brush set, but apparently I was wrong. When I opened up the package, the brushes look EXACTLY like the regular 9 piece brush set with black bristles, instead of the white/pinkish ones in the picture. It wouldn't have matter because either way the pricing was the same. The brushes feel really nice, with the exception of some of them being a little too stiff and poking my eyelids a little. I washed them, yet they still have a weird smell to them. I can't say for sure if I like these brushes enough yet, because I haven't used them as much. I'll be sure to update you guys on weather or not I like the product.

The eyelash curler is something that I really love. I use it everyday to curl my lashes without mascarra. I must say the pretty and cutes little eyelash curler does a fantastic job. I love how small and portable it is, it does wonders. I'm really happy that I bought this eyelash curler. If you're looking for one, I would definitely recommend that you buy one from the pretty and cute website ! You won't be disappointed, it has a very affordable price as well.

The next thing is the 2 nail polishes. one from OPI and one from China glaze. I must say, I am in love with OPI nail polish. I wanted to try out china glaze because everyone would always talk about it. I picked out a nice blue color I liked. I really do love the pink OPI nail polish I got, and am content with the blue china glaze color. Here are what the colors look like on my nails:

The things I went shopping for in stores were basically clothing and bath material as well as electronics. I went into the apple store to go an Ipod nano for when I go running, if you want to know what it looks like go to their website. I ended up getting the blue one. I really do like it, I like how if I get tired of my music I can listen to the radio. Its a nice change for once. The clothes I got were from forever 21. The tops look like this :

Ones a very bright pink with layers on the shirt and has a zipper down the middle. The next one is like a maroon type of color. Vey nice, also has layers to it. I love them both. Another thing I bought from forever21 was earrings, and bracelets:

The products I bought from victoria's secret were both different types of bras as well as underwear. I don't really feel like showing the world my undergarments, so instead of showing then I will describe them to you. The types of bras I got were 2 different types of sports bras, one black and one purple. The one type of bra I got was a body by victoria bra, in a hot pink color, to match with my bright pink tank top shirt I got. The different types of underwear I got were all cotton underwear with the 5 for 25.50 sale. I ended up getting 2 with the victoria secrets logo written on them. One in black and pink and one in white and black. The next one I got was a lace type underwear with pink and white stripes. The next one was a bright yellow with red dots on them. Lastly I have the black cotton underwear with what looks like glitter on them.
I will let you know that when I went to victoria's secret I did get a free bag, for buying an order amount over 75 dollars, this is what the bag looks like:

I also went to lush, the product I like to get over there at the moment is a bathbomb. It is a bathomb called the "Fizzbanger" and it is this cute little yellow ball you basically put it in your tub once you've filled it up. It will start to dissolve and there will be a little paper not the reads "bang" floating around in the water. Based off which color is in the product the most the water will either turn blue or green !

That was pretty much my entire shopping trip, if you guys have any questions feel free to comment. If you want to know the websites of everything I'll list them here:

New ear piercing,

So over the weekend I decided that I wanted to get my cartilage pierced. I was so nervous when I went into icings, but the lady over there went over everything with me. I wanted to get 3 piercings total, 3 one my left side and 2 on my right. For my left ear I want 2 lobes and one cartilage, and on my right I want 2 lobes or possible one lobe and one cartilage. I'm not really sure on my right side yet, but I am set for my left side.

I went in and got my ear pierced. I was so nervous one she put the earring gun up to my ear and I felt it poke my cartilage a little. My boyfriend was there to watch me in terror. When she pushed down on the button, and she pierced my cartilage I flinched. I will admit, it hurt a lot. It was my very first time doing it, and my sister and her girlfriend said it didn't hurt so I thought why not. To me they were wrong, but it only hurt for a day and I was good.

I clean it out 4 times a day, and I must say it may be a pain, but its totally worth it. I put the cleaner on my ear, push the earring back and forth a little and turn it twice forward, once backwards. Thats pretty much it, I do it when I wake up, in the middle of the day, when I get out of the shower, and before I go to sleep. I can't sleep on my ear, so I either lay down on my right side on flat on my back.

This is currently week one of 8. I'm pretty excited :) 3 down, 2 more to go :D
